But when her best friend Alanna is killed, she has to return to her sadistic ex to find a way to save her friend with only 3 days in which to do it. Ines has lived her life on the run and in disguise since she was eleven, but moving around and pretending to be a boy never bothered her until her mother died leaving her all alone. Now with no one to worry about but herself, Ines feels like doing something reckless. She ends up getting a job using the one skill it’s illegal to utilize in her world without a license, MAGIC. And that is precisely what draws the attention of the annoyingly confident and handsome Wizard Royce. But he hasn’t come to find her to turn her in, he’s come to ask her to use those skills for his own nefarious purposes and he’s determined to give Ines no choice in the matter…

Meet the Marked Magic MC’s!

Sawyer lives her life numb to the world…because when you’re the only one who can see the monsters, that’s the only way to survive. Unfortunately, even this sad excuse for a life is cut short. But Sawyer soon finds out that being dead and actually living with the monsters might be better than being alive ever was. Of course it doesn’t hurt that her guide to the afterlife is good looking or that for some reason he insists on sticking around long after she’s gotten the hang of this whole ‘being dead thing’.
